A Night to Celebrate: Derby and Derbyshire General Practice Awards 2026

On Friday 23rd October 2026, members of the Stubley Medical Centre team had the pleasure of attending the Derby and Derbyshire General Practice Awards, and what a fantastic and memorable evening it was!
We went into the evening already feeling incredibly proud. Having so many of our individual staff members and teams shortlisted for awards was an achievement in itself and wonderful recognition of the care, commitment and hard work that takes place across our entire practice every single day.
We were absolutely delighted to come away with some fantastic awards and achievements.
🏆Rising Star Award - Winner - Paige
A huge congratulations to our trainee GP Assistant, Paige, who won the Rising Star Award. We are incredibly proud of Paige and everything she has achieved.
🏆Reception Team of the Year for Derby and Derbyshire - Winners
Our wonderful Reception Team were named Reception Team of the Year for Derby and Derbyshire! Our reception team are at the heart of the practice, supporting our patients and clinical teams every day, and we are thrilled to see their hard work recognised in this way.
We are also enormously proud to have several runners-up:

Awards are wonderful to receive, but for us, the greatest achievement is what these nominations represent.
Behind every nomination is a team of people who care deeply about the work they do. Whether providing clinical care, answering a telephone call, welcoming someone at reception, supporting a colleague, managing services behind the scenes or continually looking for ways to improve the care we provide, every member of our team has an important part to play.
We are incredibly proud of everyone at Stubley Medical Centre. These awards belong not only to those who won or were shortlisted, but to the whole practice team whose dedication, compassion and teamwork make Stubley what it is.
Most importantly, everything we do is ultimately for our patients. Our patients and our local community are at the heart of the practice, and we continually strive to provide the best possible care, support and experience for everyone who comes through our doors or contacts us.
To have that commitment recognised at the Derby and Derbyshire General Practice Awards means a great deal to us.
