GP/ Nurse Appointments:

We now use a triage system to assess and then allocate appointments when appropriate.

Please see details of the triage system here.

Whist we do block some appointments for on-the-day response we are not an emergency service and if you feel If you feel your problem is urgent for on the day attention please phone 111 initially.

Routine appointments with the GP are 10 minutes. This allows just enough time to listen to you about an issue; question, examine, discuss, prescribe and keep good notes.

More than one issue, and we’re struggling. Please consider this.

Appointment Guidance:

You can also book ahead and do so for routine check-ups.

The Practice Nurse is the best person to see first for ‘annual’ reviews of regular medication or conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes and asthma.

You will be contacted for monitoring if you have a long term health condition, however following the Covid-19 pandemic some reviews may have been delayed. Please contact the surgery if you feel this is the case.

Home Visits:

Home visits requests are accepted for those patients whose condition prevents them from leaving their house.
